Medix Ambulance provides advanced life support 9-1-1 ambulance response for all of Clatsop County in Oregon and parts of Pacific County, Washington (City of Long Beach, City of Ilwaco, and Pacific County Fire District #2). All Medix Ambulance Paramedics and EMTs are dual certified in the states of Oregon and Washington.
Medix Ambulance has a long history of service in the very rural setting of the northern Oregon and southern Washington communities it serves. Known as a dependable and professional health care provider, the company’s outstanding track record of performance has earned it the goodwill of EMS policy makers, the medical community, and citizens.
Medix Ambulance responds to more than 6,500 ambulance requests for service and approximately 7,000 requests for wheelchair service annually. Medix Ambulance meets or exceeds the EMS response time requirements for all service zones we cover.
History
Medix was started in 1975 by O. David Dickson and in 2006 Medix was purchased by JD Fuiten. Medix established a contract in 1977 with Clatsop County and in 2007 started service to Long Beach, Ilwaco and parts of south Pacific County in Washington. Our long history in Clatsop County has made us known as a dependable and professional health care provider. We continue to provide the best quality pre-hospital care and medical transportation for our citizens.
Cindy Williams-Borgen
Medix MedCALL Client Services Manager
Cindy is well versed in workers compensation programs and claims management. She has a commanding knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations as well as managing first aid programs.
Cindy brings more than 15 years’ experience in occupational medicine and onsite first aid consulting to her work at Medix MedCALL. In addition to her experience in Portland working for major occupational health providers, Cindy has completed training and education courses held throughout the country, including courses from the National Association of Health Professionals.
Steven Zamora, EMT
Supervisor
Steven is the first line of contact for our Medix MedCALL contacts, working to ensure that the best interests of the employees and the organization are well served.
Steven has been with Medix Ambulance for more than ten years and has experience in all divisions of the company, including 9-1-1 ambulance and dispatch duties. This broad background enables him to consult with businesses and organizations to create programs for employee health and safety. Steven is a certified Emergency Medical Technician in Oregon and Washington and a volunteer firefighter in Warrenton.
